The Brief

Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year is the world’s most prestigious business award... It is staged across 135 cities in 50 countries.

It is a unique awards program that encourages potential and recognises the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.

Launched in Australia in 2001, MSF was chosen to undertake the massive task to design, produce and project manage five regional awards and one national awards event across Australia. We have successfully continued to do this for the last eight years.

Ernst & Young secured the services of MSF as they recognised in us, an organisation that shared their values, as well as those of the entrepreneurs that the event celebrates.

We were entrusted to create prestigious and memorable events reflecting the above brand values and to grow the event with the aim of it becoming the premier awards event in the Australian business community.

The MSF Solution

An entrepreneur is someone who has considerable initiative and who appreciates controlled risk. The entrepreneurs recognised by Ernst & Young are visionary leaders who view achievement and success as their goal. MSF captured these attributes and have successfully integrated them into the event as well as enhancing their impact over our eight year relationship with the program.

We constantly review the awards program and ensure that we are visionary and risk taking in our outlook. We connect the Ernst & Young brand on a global and local scale to each event and ensure a unique and clear message is conveyed and easily understood by all in attendance.

Each venue chosen to host the awards, reflects the brand values of innovation and individuality, and we ensure the same approach is taken with the food and beverage management, MC choice, event format and content and post event entertainment as well.

Presented in a banquet format (state awards 450pax / national awards 700pax), each year MSF initiate a design process that includes an innovative set design and build, along with table designs comprising centrepieces, branding, linens, chaircovers and napkins. A new look is created for each state and national event annually.

To complement the set design and room styling MSF provide complete technical and logistics solutions (including lighting, audio, staging, vision, personnel and freight management) to ensure that Ernst & Young personnel can walk on site to an event that is complete.

The Outcome

Through MSF’s vision and leadership the Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards and the Entrepreneur Of The Year brand have successfully grown in size and reputation to be recognised as the pre-eminent business awards event in Australia.
